🎉 Grace Church, Grand Rapids: “Alongside its many ministries Grace, Grand Rapids is celebrating its Naturalization Initiative, which supports our local pollinators and cleans our rainwater through native plants in partnership with the Plaster Creek Stewards. We look forward to the installation of a bioswale this Spring!”

🎉St. John’s, Dryden: “Last August we celebrated the repair and repainting of our century old church by holding an outside service – called the Sunshine Service. Thanks to the generosity of our congregation and the Diocese, a transformation was achieved. The new building was so bright in the morning light, that you can’t really see the congregation so I included a picture of us basking in the glow.”

🎉Emmanuel, Hastings: Emmanuel is celebrating the installation of their 25th Rector, Mother Alicia Hager that took place earlier this September.

🎉 St. Andrew’s, Grand Rapids: “This summer, children and adults from St. Andrew's and the community performed their 2nd Annual summer musical, Jesus Christ Superstar! We continue to seek ways of connection and fellowship, while growing in our relationship with God and one another.”

🎉: Trinity, Niles: “This time of year Trinity remembers all those who are in need for whatever reason. The Angel Tree program this year will help the Berrien County Humane Society with pet supplies, the Niles Area Salvation Army with their food bank, and the Berrien County Foster Closet with clothing and personal items for those in the foster care system.”

🎉: “The People of St. Luke’s wave brightly colored scarves as they call down God’s blessings on the whole world. Blessings in the four cardinal directions happens every year as the congregation celebrates the Feast of the Holy Cross to start its program year. The parish’s tagline is, ‘Spirituality in Action’ and the people of St. Luke’s put their spirituality in action to bring God’s blessings to the whole world through prayer and worship, through Christian Formation, and through care for those in the community who are in need.”

The Feast

The Feast is a collaborative magazine of the Episcopal Dioceses of Eastern and Western Michigan. It comes out every fall.
