Each week, we pray for one another during the Prayers of the People each Sunday. This week we will pray for Diocesan Conventions, St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Grand Rapids, and St. Augustine's Episcopal Church, Benton Harbor, MI.

🎉: “St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Grand Rapids celebrates our spring Episcopal 101 group, and we look forward to starting another class soon.”

Each week, we pray for one another during the Prayers of the People each Sunday. This week we will pray for St. John's Episcopal Church Dryden and Emmanuel Episcopal Church.

🎉St. John’s, Dryden: “Last August we celebrated the repair and repainting of our century old church by holding an outside service – called the Sunshine Service. Thanks to the generosity of our congregation and the Diocese, a transformation was achieved. The new building was so bright in the morning light, that you can’t really see the congregation so I included a picture of us basking in the glow.”

🎉Emmanuel, Hastings: Emmanuel is celebrating the installation of their 25th Rector, Mother Alicia Hager that took place earlier this September.

Each week, we pray for one another during the Prayers of the People each Sunday. This week we will pray for St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Trinity Episcopal Church, Niles MI, and Transfiguration Episcopal Church.

🎉 St. Andrew’s, Grand Rapids: “This summer, children and adults from St. Andrew's and the community performed their 2nd Annual summer musical, Jesus Christ Superstar! We continue to seek ways of connection and fellowship, while growing in our relationship with God and one another.”

🎉: Trinity, Niles: “This time of year Trinity remembers all those who are in need for whatever reason. The Angel Tree program this year will help the Berrien County Humane Society with pet supplies, the Niles Area Salvation Army with their food bank, and the Berrien County Foster Closet with clothing and personal items for those in the foster care system.”

Each week, we pray for one another during the Prayers of the People each Sunday. This week we will pray for St. Francis of Assisi in Shelbyville and all non-Parochial Clergy and Lutheran Pastors.

🎉: “The People of St. Luke’s wave brightly colored scarves as they call down God’s blessings on the whole world. Blessings in the four cardinal directions happens every year as the congregation celebrates the Feast of the Holy Cross to start its program year. The parish’s tagline is, ‘Spirituality in Action’ and the people of St. Luke’s put their spirituality in action to bring God’s blessings to the whole world through prayer and worship, through Christian Formation, and through care for those in the community who are in need.”

Each week, we pray for one another during the Prayers of the People each Sunday. This week we will pray for St. Andrew’s in Gaylord and St. Paul’s in Elk Rapids.

🎉: “St. Andrew’s, Gaylord will be celebrating their 75th anniversary on August 17th.”

🎉: “Outreach ministries at St. Paul's, Elk Rapids continue to be an important part of how we form disciples; we are particularly thankful for all the community donations given towards our back-to-school supplies ministry (providing at least 10 children with everything they need to start the school year off right) and those already looking forward to our fall Coats and Boots ministry (outfitting at least 20 local children with the outdoor clothing they need to be comfortable through our northern Michigan winters).”

The Feast

The Feast is a collaborative magazine of the Episcopal Dioceses of Eastern and Western Michigan. It comes out every fall.
